Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Northern Virginia. She is the middle daughter from two siblings. She is the middle daughter with two brothers and sisters, and was brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her TV career with a role in National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in Laura Neri's movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of this performance, she was nominated at the Cannes Film Festival for Best Actress. She appeared as an actor in a variety of television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. She has also appeared in independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot. Ghanizada was cast in her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television. Season two of Nightshift, she was holistic doctor Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada was seen as Kelly, the Prada character in HBO's Entourage. She was also part of the crew of the television Pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan as well as executive producer T Bone Burnett.
